18 U.S.C. §2257 Compliance Statement

1. Statement

All models, actors, actresses and other persons appearing in any visual depiction of actual or simulated sexually explicit conduct appearing on, or otherwise contained in, planetjoi.com were over the age of eighteen years at the time the visual depiction was created.

This statement is made pursuant to 18 U.S.C. §2257 and §2257A and 28 C.F.R. Part 75.

2. Who produces the content here

planetjoi.com is an interactive computer service that hosts content created and uploaded by its users. DigitLumin LLC does not produce, direct, script, film, edit or commission any depiction appearing here.

With respect to visual depictions of actual sexually explicit conduct, the creator who made and uploaded the depiction is the primary producer within the meaning of 28 C.F.R. §75.1(c), and is required by law, and by their Creator Agreement with us, to create and maintain the records that §2257 requires, including a government-issued identity document for every person depicted.

Where DigitLumin LLC is a secondary producer with respect to any depiction, it maintains the records required of a secondary producer.

3. What we verify before anyone can publish

No account may publish or sell content on Planet until it has been verified as belonging to an adult. Verification requires:

• the applicant’s legal name and date of birth;
• a government-issued photographic identity document, front and back;
• a photograph of the applicant holding that document; and
• a written attestation that they are at least 18 and that every person they depict will be an adult who has consented.

Applications are reviewed by a person, not automatically. Records of verification are retained, and access to them is restricted and logged.

4. Content that is exempt

Content on Planet that does not depict actual or simulated sexually explicit conduct as defined in 18 U.S.C. §2256(2) — including text, non-explicit images, and the metadata of peer-to-peer calls — is exempt from the record-keeping requirements.

Voice and video calls on Planet are peer-to-peer, are never recorded by us, and produce no visual depiction in our custody.

Requests to inspect records maintained under 28 C.F.R. §75.6 should be directed to the Custodian in writing.

6. Reporting

If you believe any content on Planet depicts a person under the age of 18, report it immediately to support@planetjoi.com. Reports of this kind are handled ahead of everything else. We report child sexual abuse material to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children as required by 18 U.S.C. §2258A.
